It's was very nice. Very clean. The staff very helpful and kind. They had an electric fire place. It was pretty and worked well. The kitchen was fully stocked up with pops, pans dishes etc. to make your own meals Things to know. It was very old fashion, there was wifi but no way to connect to YouTube, Prime video. They only had regular TV and a CD player. If like me I'm not interested in TV etc and this is not a big deal. To get to the heated pool you had to drive to it . Which in the winter not the best idea. Other than needing to let everyone know they DO NOT take American Express for their deposit/payments in advance, the place is beautiful, clean, in a super location, and the staff is kind. I would absolutely recommend this place to others and stay again myself! We had a rental car, but preferred to take the park n ride trolley just a couple miles away at the City Hall/Post Office lot for free. It is about $20 on average to park in the main strip area, and traffic during winter holidays is no joke. Not worth the stress or hassle if you can help it. This resort is in a good location just a bit out from the main thoroughfare, but close enough to be near the trolley route. Beware of the bears...you are in the foresty mountains. Take a look at the dumpster area as you drive by any, and keep your distance. We stayed in Bldg 1 and passed a family of bears the first night with a dumpster close by on our only way in/out. As noted in one of their emails--pleaae do not take Rattlesnake Hollow as the path to Sherman Clabo Rd from the main East Parkway drag...made that mistake one night on the way back, never again! Dangerous as all get out, looks like it is supposed to be an atv trail, complete darkness, and no rails to keep you from falling off. There is a beautiful street at a light you should take instead that runs right next to a serene creek with a nice view and mostly straight, not very steep, drive to the timeshare--name given in the emails from the resort too. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and fresh air of the mountains at Tree Tops Resort!

We stayed the week between Christmas and New Years so it was super busy in town. We appreciated being slightly away from the downtown area and could access it with a short drive. The unit was dated but was spotless clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had everything you would need - even a hand mixer. There was a standard coffee pot and filters - just bring your coffee. Plenty of towels/linens and they have a swap out service if you want it. There is no in unit laundry. It was located in the next bldg over but we didn’t use it. There were bar soaps provided but not shampoo, conditioner or liquid soap. Parking is below the units and we had no issue finding spots even late at night. Pool was covered but hot tub was open. Fire pit was very nice. This was a great find and we would happily return.

If you didn't go through town to get here and have to use the windy road, is a little more interesting drive and a little scary for those that didn't like driving next to the mountain. Some said it's an old looking resort. We did not feel that way. The rooms have been remodeled and very nice. New furniture in ours and super comfortable beds, recliners and couch. Close to downtown Gatlinburg. Great staff! If definitely come back here again.

I went with my husband. We enjoyed the actual unit that we rented through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. The setting was in the Smoky Mountains, but even in the office season, traffic was part of the experience. Our checking was smooth, but I was not interested in tge on-site drawing. One of the staff was perplexed by this, but the questionnaire that was attached to the drawing, looked like marketing research. So, I didn't fill it out. The staff member came up later and pitched an investment in the complex. I told her, that wasn't something that interested me. She persisted, and I stated clearly, it was unappealing to me. I was informed that repossessions were offered to Veterans first, and all I could think was, Yuck! These staff interactions were a huge turnoff. I don't think I will ever return to this resort in the foreseeable future.

We stayed here with friends who booked it. The 2 bedroom condo was immaculately clean and well stocked. Our view was mountain and pool view and very peaceful. Only drawback we found was that it wasn’t walking into Gatlinburg easy. No problem for us as everything we did this visit was in Pigeonforge so we did the quick drive there. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stood here for 4 nights . Loved my room, service was great. They even provided me a pack n play and high char for my little one. People were nice and hospitable . The grounds were nice and kept clean. My kids enjoyed the little parks they have on the property. We enjoyed the activity center as we got to play ping pong and rent some games for our room. We didn’t check out the pool but we seen ppl in there and it looked nice Only complain was that there were these bugs idk if they were beetles of what but they were quite a few , I have seen these bugs before at my parents in the winter time so I just figured it’s a big that comes with the elements. I did not make a complain I just let them know when I checked out and they said probably the stink bugs , no big deal they did not bother us. Would definitely stay here again, close to the down town and attractions .
